EasyMoza Review 2026: Prices vs Mosaically & getmoza

The one fact to know first: getmoza prints ship to the US, UK, Canada and Australia; EasyMoza prints ship within the EU only (checked 2026-10-17). EasyMoza's own pages say "We deliver prints within the EU only (for now)." If your mosaic is a gift for someone in London, Toronto or Sydney, that settles it, and a photo mosaic canvas from getmoza starts at €79. If you are inside the EU and want the cheapest large file, EasyMoza is hard to beat. The rest of this page shows why.

EasyMoza in one paragraph (checked 2026-10-17): EasyMoza is a browser-based photo mosaic maker. You can build and preview a mosaic free, without an account, and keep a small version with their web address in the corner. Paid digital files cost €7 for XL (about 7,800 × 5,200 px) and €12 for XXL (about 15,600 × 10,400 px), and the download link works for three months. It also sells posters, canvas, Dibond and acrylic prints, and mosaic videos from €24.

We build getmoza, so read this with that in mind. Every competitor figure below comes from the services' own pages as we found them on 17 October 2026, and we say plainly where each one wins.

The short version

• Cheapest large digital file: EasyMoza (€7 XL / €12 XXL, with published pixel sizes; checked 2026-10-17)
• Biggest files and free online sharing: Mosaically (over 300 megapixels as standard; downloads from $49; checked 2026-10-17)
• A print shipped beyond the EU, ordered where you made it, full preview first: getmoza (files from €9.95, prints from €39 to 30+ countries)

All three let you try before you pay.

Changed since our August version: EasyMoza's downloads went from €5.95 / €9.95 to €7 / €12, it now lists pixel sizes, and it has a print shop. Our old table said "no prints" for EasyMoza, which is no longer true. Mosaically's video now starts at $299.

Where each one wins

EasyMoza: the budget pick

EasyMoza keeps things simple: upload at least 20 photos (its FAQ says 300 or more look better, because each photo repeats less), build, preview, download a JPG, with no account. At €12 for roughly 15,600 × 10,400 px, its XXL file is both the cheapest and one of the largest in this comparison; EasyMoza says it stays sharp up to about 132 × 88 cm (checked 2026-10-17). Prints and videos are available too, with print delivery limited to the EU.

Pick EasyMoza if: you want the most pixels for the least money, or a print delivered inside the EU at a low price.

Mosaically: the sharing pick

Mosaically's pitch is "free to create, share, collaborate": friends and family can add photos to one mosaic, which suits group gifts and memorials. It also produces the biggest files here (over 300 megapixels, about 18,000 × 18,000 px, as standard) and ships prints free worldwide. The trade-off is price: downloads from $49, prints from $129, canvas from $199 (checked 2026-10-17).

Pick Mosaically if: sharing online or a very large file is the point, and price matters less.

getmoza: the print-gift pick

getmoza (that's us) is built for mosaics that go on a wall. Every tile is placed at full strength and colour-matched, so the tile photos stay recognisable up close. Zoom into the free preview and check that yourself before paying. Downloads are €9.95 (300 DPI at the size you chose, e.g. 7,087 × 7,087 px for 60×60 cm), €29.95 (about 1.5× larger) and €49.95 (about 2×). Prints: paper from €39, canvas from €79, aluminium from €109, acrylic from €199, gallery frame from €315. They are made by professional photo labs (WhiteWall in the EU), shipped to 30+ countries, and every print includes the digital file. Production and delivery take usually 5–12 working days, depending on product and country. You can also pull tile photos from a public Instagram handle instead of uploading them: see Instagram photo mosaic.

Pick getmoza if: you want to see the finished mosaic in full before paying, order the print in the same place, and ship it outside the EU.

Where getmoza loses: EasyMoza's €12 file (checked 2026-10-17) is larger than our €49.95 Ultra; Mosaically's sharing is better; we don't make videos.

Alternatives to EasyMoza

EasyMoza is a good tool, and if a cheap, large file is all you need, use it. People who look for an alternative usually have one of these reasons.

1. The print has to leave the EU. EasyMoza's FAQ says "We deliver prints to all EU countries" and nowhere else (checked 2026-10-17). A digital file can be ordered from anywhere, but then you have to find a lab that can print a 15,600 px file well. getmoza ships prints to the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well as the EU. Mosaically ships its prints free worldwide, at higher prices.

2. You want to judge every tile before paying. Both EasyMoza and getmoza preview free. On getmoza the preview is the whole mosaic, zoomable to a single tile, so you can run the zoom test on your own photos: are the small photos sharp and recognisable, or tinted into the big picture? Apply the same scepticism to us as to anyone.

3. Your tile photos are on Instagram. getmoza can pull the photos from a public Instagram handle: type the handle and the grid comes in, with no uploading one by one. EasyMoza's FAQ mentions Instagram only as a place to share its videos.

4. Several people want to add photos. Mosaically is built around collaboration. On getmoza, Collect gives you one link that relatives and friends use to add their photos to the same mosaic.

5. You want it free with no watermark at all. Then none of the three is the answer: look at Mosaicify Studio, which runs in your browser and is free, with a lower resolution ceiling.

How to judge any mosaic maker in 30 seconds

Whichever tool you try, zoom into the preview at 100% and look at a single tile. If you can clearly recognise the small photo (faces, colours, detail), it's a true mosaic. If the tile looks washed out or like a miniature of the big picture, the tool is tinting thumbnails rather than matching photos. Then check the pixel count against the print size you want: about 300 pixels per inch at the final size. Longer guide: how to choose a photo mosaic maker.
